Smiley and I were the first two to paddle out, and had the sunrise and 30min of glassy slabs to ourselves. Thanks MASA!

Took the girls to Onjuku and then sniped a few at Hebara with the "Weekend Warriors!"

Had my first longboard session of the year at Onjuku, and did the green machine at Hebara.

Surfed SECRET with Smiley. Rammasun (#2/2008). 4-7ft SSE.

Smiley was on his Big Red 7'5" and I was privileged to ride his 1998 McCoy 7'0" White Lightning.

Smiley said the session was as good as it gets, and I caught one of the best waves of my life.
